Position Summary: The HRBP is responsible for developing and engaging with managers and employees on matters relative to communications, performance management, skill development, and recruitment.
Essential Functions:

Responsible to engage with all employees in assigned work groups and develop an appreciation of their relationships with each other and their job roles.

Support managers and supervisors in communicating with employees in problem-resolution; completing required administrative tasks and providing access to company resources i.e., copies of policies, employee forms, etc.

Collaborate with managers and supervisors in the administration and implementation of plant and company-wide programs such as Reward and Recognition Programs, annual company-supported charity drives, etc.

Work closely with managers and supervisors in documenting and evaluating appropriate action to take relative to employee performance.

Support managers in recruiting for replacement and new staff members. Validate content of job descriptions and advertising. Assist in developing appropriate and applicable interview questions. Jointly work on defining internal interview process. Oversee and ensure a thorough and complete New Employee Orientation program.

In conjunction with managers and supervisors, identifies and/or responds to pay issues within group and seek advice and counsel from recognized internal resources.

Apply knowledge of HRIS system to provide comparative, summary and prospective data to respond to manager inquiries.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver communication programs and delivery jointly or with clear support of managers and supervisors.

Participate as an HR professional in Airbus Americas-wide projects furthering HR programs.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements (Skills needed):
-
5-8 years of experience as a human resources generalist engaged in a multi-functional role, preferably in manufacturing.

Demonstrated skill in dealing with and resolving interpersonal problems with employees and managers.

Demonstrated skill in written and oral communications on a range of issues.

Experience dealing with a range of generalized employee sentiment and working with managers to address and resolve and/or encourage it.
Education/Special Qualifications (schooling, certifications):

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A PHR or SPHR designation is preferred.

Fluency in written and spoken English. Equivalent proficiency in a language other than English (French, German, Spanish) is preferred.

Education and/or training in identifying and solving issues in the workplace including stress, anxiety, and related matters.
