Position Summary:
- Lead a X-Program "Delivery Transaction" team focused on managing the commercial relationship and discussion with our customers through the manufacturing and delivery process of the aircraft. The objective is to help secure Airbus delivery targets while protecting customer satisfaction and Airbus interests.
- Represent Airbus
- Accountable for commercial gestures linked to technical or quality status of the aircraft up to an amount of $150,000 in Credit Notes and $250,000(per aircraft) in risks or provisions, and associated risk management and escalation.
- Holds Power of Attorney, and associated accountability, for signature of contractual documentation at Transfer of Title (E.G. aircraft Bills of Sale, aircraft delivery invoices etc, etc).
- Act as deputy to the head of Customer Delivery organization
- Define and execute strategy to grow and sustain the team to support the ramp up of both A320 and A220. Particular focus on mentoring existing and new team members, coaching through difficult commercial issues.
- Ensure process adherence and evolution by representing function as POM representative in defined process governance.
- Actively foster and lead cross-functional and cross-site cooperation, collaboration and sharing of best-practices.
- Ensure proper support of CAD MFT, in all commercial matters, at all levels of the organization in both Manufacturing Sites, Flow-Line and Delivery Center.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 7 to 10 years in leadership role in aviation
- Experience working directly with airline customers
