Position Summary: AOS Senior Change Agent plays an essential role in the AOS standards deployment and sustainability. Being a part of local teams in the FALs, AOS Senior change Agent advises operations managers and teams at FAL level on how to improve performance and acts as a role model to demonstrate new and better ways to work. AOS Senior change Agent as well coordinates the Change agents in delivering the AOS deployment as per the roadmaps of the area.
Accountabilities
- Accountable for the maturity of the line / unit (shared with operational team)
- Liaise with AOS Experts for the AOS content and with Ho Production (Ho CDT / UL) for the
- deployment
- AOS* roadmap definition and alignment for each brick
- Develop AOS* competence in the line (operators and management L1, L2**, L3**, MFT**) +
AOS team of the area, through knowledge transfer, coaching, etc.
- Run improvement initiatives
- Co-lead governance / steering of the Tactical Implementation Plan (TIP)
- Report maturity score
- Secure resource plan (driver model)
- AOS standards local focal point
* When AOS is mentioned it includes all associated official digital solutions (MES, Smart SQCDP, etc.)
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Develop AOS Strategy and Governance: 25 %
- Prepare & co-facilitate AOS steerings of the area and support CDT level governance
- Facilitate workshops (kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, VSM)
2. Deployment AOS: 50 %
- Act as coordinator for change agents and guidance on day to day tasks.
- Develop TIP for AOS bricks in the area
- Train L2, L3 Management (on-the-job training)
- Launch & participate in management go-look-see providing structured feedbackInitiate
- AOS pilots in low maturity areas
- Implement routines with AOS Experts to keep alignment
- Capture testimonies (AOS standards users' satisfaction)
- Exchange on good practices through cross benchmarking and communication
Additional Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned: 15 %
- Lead industrial task forces/Project on need basis: diagnosis, solution definition and implementation, results achievement
- Develop, moderate and chair workshops within the FAL to resolve business and cultural issues respectively.
- Using validated samples to identify, communicate and promote the use of Lean tools and techniques for effective problem-solving at all levels.
- Other Duties as per the needs of the areas.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in aerospace, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or similar discipline. May substitute for an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- At Least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing logistics environment is required.
- Requires experience in quality tools, problem solving and process optimisation (Lean / six sigma Green Belt or equivalent)
- Requires experience in leading or actively participating in lean manufacturing workshops such as kaizen, VSM, SMED, 5S, etc...
Licensure/Certifications:
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Level Preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
- Deep understanding of all AOS bricks, global system view and Operational Excellence principles
- Deep knowledge of AOS deployment model principles and deliverables
- Good knowledge of MES with abilities to understand usage adherence deviations and propose associated actions
Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
- Performance management
- Capacity to efficiently communicate to large groups (concise / simple messages)
- Coaching basics
- Capability to detect resistance to change and propose counter-actions to improve adhesion
- Tutoring skills in line with Airbus Leadership Model
Technical Systems Proficiency:
- Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google suite
- Knowledge of SAP
Travel Required:
- 10 % Domestic and International
Decision Making, Complexity:
- Coordinates the AOS change agents on daily activities
- Acts as back up for HO AOS for key activities
- Responsible for AOS implementation at Business Unit Level

Involved communication on a frequent basis with internal customers.

- Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions
- Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
- Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
- Equipment Operation Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment.
- Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 30lbs/14kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.
- Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.
- Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
- Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
- Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
- Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Travel: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time. Working outside hangers in changing locations.
- Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
