Position Summary: Responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions for the A220 FAL. Responsible for developing a strong understanding of our performance across all activities, and to develop and implement a repeatable process for monitoring and reporting it. Will manage the direction and use of analytic technologies on an on-going basis and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and business efficiency. Responsible for obtaining and vetting data, developing and executive quantitative analysis (with potentially incomplete) data, cross-check results to identify potential inconsistencies or limitations. Define detailed functional requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases; including gap and impact analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of business problems and KPIs to identify the root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Conducts and facilitates (and educates and trains on) analyses, issues identification, organizational risk assessment, and decision making processes
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
  • Development and implementation of performance metrics, data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
  • Drive strategic analyses and provide recommendations for ad hoc requests, both from within the team and externally
  • Establish baseline metrics and analytics, collaborate with Business Operations and the leadership team to track and report all key performance indicators against annual, quarterly, and monthly goals
  • Identify areas of improvement and concerns in business operational areas and provide appropriate strategies to resolve them
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements; gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
  • Synthesis performance trends and business performance
  • Work with all stakeholders throughout life cycle of production to ensure that the right KPIs and targets have been set
  • Awareness of project management, assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Providing optimal business solutions to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.


  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of aircraft or manufacturing experience related to data, program, and management analysis, or in a similar role
  • Expert MicroSoft Excel skills including lookup/reference functions, nesting if-then statements, array formulas, pivot tables, graphs/reporting tools, and knowledge of the data analysis package; some macro knowledge preferred
  • Must possess extensive quantitative analysis experience with the ability to effectively turn raw data into actionable insights
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paces environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prior experience with ERP/MRP/MPS in a manufacturing in a distribution environment and strong understanding of relational databases preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Project Management using relevant tools and techniques
  • MS Office and SAP as well as experience in analyzing data and demonstrable coordination skills
  • Analyzing financial and employment reports
  • Knowledge in LEAN practices
  • ERP implementation and support experience
  • Organized, disciplined, and capable of working in a dynamic, yet well documented Project Management and a formal Change Management environment
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience

  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel in the organization
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: able to see and utilize fine work tools, computer screens; able to move through the office and from point to point to find specific co-workers and in-house experts.
  • Hearing: able to hear in normal conversations and respond to warnings and signals.
  • Speaking: able to participate in normal business conversations.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to use work tools defined in job description with skill and acceptable results: able to operate standard office equipment and utilize electronic ID to enter building
  • Carrying: able to carry up to 40 lbs./18kg. when transporting documents, printer paper and similar items.
  • Lifting: able to lift up to 40lbs/18kg. on occasion.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push/pull equipment, tools, production carts and office chairs and pieces of equipment
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time in front of a machine, on a tool bench or computer terminal while writing bulletins or participating in meetings
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to regularly squat/kneel to access items or tools stored on low shelving
  • Standing: able to stand for long periods of time in meetings and discussions
  • Travel: able to travel through the office/work complex and occasionally within the US for business meetings.
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces to obtain items for work, retrieve/replace tools and to reach meetings, visitors and direct others to meetings.
