Position Summary: The Workforce Development Coordinator role requires an individual who can be inventive and detail-oriented while balancing operational excellence and program success. They will coordinate and assist in the execution of our team's efforts to develop sustainable and durable work force development partnerships in the Southeast and Gulf Coast Region. This includes analyzing labor demands and supply side dynamics, building partnership models and approaches, marshalling internal resources and collaboration, aligning external political leadership, partnering with other allied employers and educational institutions (at all levels), and supporting the integration and articulation with K12 districts and secondary schools resulting in implementation at scale. This role will also provide assistance to existing initiatives. The role will be responsible for identifying evolving opportunities and leading an entrepreneurial approach to crafting new solutions and approaches.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of the customer (internal and external), ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of our content efforts and help our team iterate and improve on our content offering.
  • Work with a team to manage program deliverables within budgetary, resources and scheduling requirements against defined project milestones and deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders (e.g. education leaders, faculty, and employers) and internal teams (e.g. human resources, and recruiting).
  • Facilitate regional/statewide planning and implantation, including needs assessments, strategic planning, adaptation to local needs, and progress monitoring.
  • Drive successful implementation, including curriculum and program development; educator professional development; employer engagement; collaboration with government, non-profit organizations, and other workforce development intermediary organizations.
  • Capture insights and best practices to enhance the model, with an emphasis on efficiency and scale.
  • Develop and evaluation system of each program's effectiveness and output.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and manage feedback systems to monitor implementation needs to support the successful adoption, implementation, and scaling.
  • Domestic travel based on business need and sometimes on short notice.


  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 1+ year required, 2+ years preferred experience in education leadership, workforce development, marketing, or human resources.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial startup and/or corporate culture.
  • Broad experience, across functional and technical areas, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining projects.
  • Relevant Program Management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize in a sometimes ambiguous environment and within cross-functional, global teams.
  • Experience in education, career preparation counseling, workforce development, recruitment, HR, or related field.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of curriculum development tools and practices.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace

Travel Required:

  • 25% Domestically

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus.
