Position Summary: Responsible for recurring cost management in the Mobile FAL Site operational state. Implement and lead cost improvement initiatives for Mobile FAL Site. Also, develop, monitor and report recurring cost KPIs, reports, business cases, project plans and benchmarking exercises.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Consolidation of the recurring cost performance and synthesize key points and enable management decision that support convergence toward continuous improvement targets and initiative in the Mobile FAL site functions and programs
    • More fully develop recurring cost driver models for all Mobile FAL Site departments
    • Actively support and coordinate with the Mobile Site risk and opportunity specialist regarding risk and opportunities within the recurring cost perimeter, ensuring that the key risks and opportunities relevant to recurring cost are captured within each department and that mitigation plans are executed
    • Support key stakeholders to develop robust convergence roadmaps for identified recurring cost deviations
    • Identify key areas for business improvement and lead improvement initiatives for all Mobile FAL site functions and programs. Ensure relevant opportunities are communicated to the relevant FALs within Airbus SAS and ACLP.
    • Develop and implement project plans and business cases for opportunities across all Mobile FAL site functions and programs
    • Support and lead benchmarking activities within plant Mobile a/c programs and collaborate with other FALs in Airbus SAS and ACLP to conduct benchmarking activities.
    • Set up recurring cost KPIs and reports

  • Contribute to AOP forecast and preparation

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

    • 5-10 years of experience in cost management.
    • 5-10 years experience in project coordination/management
    • 5-10 years experience in KPI development and tracking.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment preferred
    • Working familiarity with financial reporting systems and analytics preferably: SAP/Tableau/G-Suite.
    • Proactive, dynamic and autonomous way of working
    • Analytical skills, structures, good organization and prioritization skills
    • Proven communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Diplomacy and discretion

  • Able to drive implementation / standardization / alignment in a complex corporate environment


    • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of risk and opportunity management and general finance.


  • Required: 5-10 years experience in finance.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Required: Knowledge of business intelligence software, Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel).
  • Preferred: Access, Business Analytics software, SAP.

Travel Required:

  • <10% Domestic and International.

Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.

Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.

Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.

Travel: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time. Working outside hangers in changing locations.

Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
