Position Summary: The mission of the LMS and Training Coordinator is to coordinate activities directly related to the identification, procurement, scheduling, delivery and recording of training and competence development activities for respective areas of responsibilities for the Airbus Final Assembly line in Mobile.

Responsibilities will include the management and administration of Learning Management Systems to ensure correct communication, recording and reporting of training activity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Learning Management system(s) (40%)
    1. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of training software for the coordination on training needs; Maintenance of the competence and training catalogue in each function.
    2. Develop and maintain processes to update, maintain and develop use of the LMS
    3. Add accounts, update personnel changes, and remove accounts
    4. Add learning courses, curriculums and events and manage records of attendance at training
    5. Where local control of administration applies, manage security settings for accounts and work with software provider to manage changes to configuration as required
    6. Manage development and deployment of online content
  2. Coordinate training activities for Airbus employees: 45%
    1. Contribute to the overall Airbus HR competence management and training strategy by assisting with translating company needs and business inputs into competence management and training content/demand.
    2. Booking employees into training and communicating with supervisors and employees on nominations
    3. Coordinating aspects of training to be conducted, such as scheduling rooms, instructors, resources
    4. Producing attendance rosters and entering attendance data
    5. Monitor training actions (e.g. KPI, qualifying internal/external trainers, auditing existing learning plans) and providing reports on schedule, attendance/ completion, and refreshers required
    6. Coordinate or liaise on procurement and payment processes, including acting as Point of Contact for Airbus Miami Training Center to schedule training for FAL-Mobile. Manage supplier performance where applicable
    7. Ensure a constructive, customer focused interface with all training team members and partners (eg. AIDT), internal training customers and suppliers
    8. Assist Airbus training team with FAL Training Projects

  1. Process management: 10%
  • Define and update all processes relating to coordination of training
  • Demonstrate adherence to process through delivery of process KPI reporting
  1. Develop and manage reporting on activities: 5%
  • Provide reporting for activity and information contained within the LMS on a regular basis
  • Provide status updates for upcoming work within the scope of the role

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:


  • Associates degree in Business, Human Resources Management or Social sciences or similar discipline required, or equivalent level of experience


  • Demonstrated practical experience in the field of Human Resources, Training or Scheduling / Administration (min. 3 years)
  • Experience dealing with complex conflict situations
  • Experience working with IT systems and data
  • Experience working in Learning Management Tool

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Required: Intermediate level skills in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on program needs.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and to handle multiple training projects concurrently.
  • Ability to follow established laws, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to handle & to adapt to a very diverse stakeholder group

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with others
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritization
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups in a classroom, lab or shop environment.

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Preferred: Experience in administering Learning Management or Human Resource systems
