Position Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects using project & program management tools and techniques. Accountable for effective decision making to ensure risks are mitigated as well as scope and schedules goals are met. Responsible for managing the project finances to ensure budgets are maintained and resources are utilized properly. Lead cross functional teams to achieve project milestones and support stakeholders using change management processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leading the project team and ensuring project execution On-Time/On-Quality/On-Cost
    • Put together business cases using financial and operational data
    • Establishing the project schedule and control of the project using earned value management
    • Definition & management of the industrial set-up of the projects to include the work breakdown structure
    • Establishing the project governance and organizing project teams/work package leaders into the organizational breakdown structure
    • Management of project resources within the company's matrix organization
    • Assist in financial planning, cost analysis and control for projects operational and capitalized expenditures
    • Control and reporting of the project status to customers and to the internal organization
    • Management of Risks & Opportunities
    • Analysis of As-Is conditions and defining and developing the To-Be solution
    • Creating and implementing the project customer acceptance plan
    • Tracking tasks and actions against the project baseline
    • Establish KPI's to ensure project targets are being maintained
    • Manage project milestones as well as prepare and present milestone gate reviews with senior leadership steering committee
    • Stakeholder engagement and communication plans maintained
    • Be the interface between Industrial Engineering and Operation A320 for all related projects
    • Leading projects in the FAL Mobile in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering department in Europe
    • Change management practices to be utilized in the deployment of the projects
    • Monitor the performance of the deployed projects
    • Collect lessons learned and best practices
    • All other duties as assigned


Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Management or a related field


  • 3-5 years of experience working in project and program management


  • Preferred
    • PMP Certification or AIB Bronze Level Certifications.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Required:
    • Must demonstrate proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft applications
    • Strong knowledge of P&PM tools and techniques
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to galvanize a team together to reach the project goals
    • Demonstrated effective communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills in math and science
    • Able to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks while dealing with a high volume of complex information and specific deadlines
    • Effective communication skills including the ability to write reports and present data to senior management
    • Ability to speak to large groups of people to present status reports
  • Preferred:
    • Experience using LBIP+/DMAIC methodology

Travel Required:

  • Domestic and International - 10% or as required


  • Able to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship

  • Vision: able to see and utilize fine work tools, computer screens; able to move through office and from point to point to find specific co-workers and in-house experts.

  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to use work tools defined in job description with skill and acceptable results; able to operate standard office equipment and utilize electronic ID to enter building
  • Carrying: able to carry up to 40 lbs./18kg. when transporting documents, printer paper and similar items.
  • Lifting: able to lift up to 40lbs/18kg. on occasion.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push/pull equipment, tools, production carts and office chairs and pieces of equipment
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time in front of a machine, on a tool bench or computer terminal while writing bulletins or participating in meetings
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to regularly squat/kneel to access items or tools stored on low shelving
  • Standing: able to stand for long periods of time in meetings and discussions
  • Travel: able to travel through office/work complex and occasionally within US for business meetings.
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces to obtain items for work, retrieve/replace tools and to reach meetings, visitors and direct others to meetings.
