Position Summary:

  • As Process Performance Engineer, you will provide technical assistance (methods, products, etc.) to the Production teams, with the aim of optimizing the industrial process, whilst observing safety, cost, quality and lead-time criteria.
  • You will be a driving force for the implementation of appropriate solutions (methods, processes and organization) to meet company requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Producing PERT/GANTT diagrams
  • Program Evaluation Review Techniques. (Diagrams are developed to identify task dependencies).
  • Producing line balancing for each MSN.
  • Defining the critical cycle => Industrial or => Technical
  • Analyzing industrial capacities
  • Calculating the workforce and resources
  • Defining the critical cycle => Industrial or => Technical
  • Calculating the workforce and resources
  • Contributing to the definition of the industrial architecture
  • Studying and optimizing flows
  • The time management focal point for the Final Assembly Line (FAL). Meaning you are the person that completes the calculation for how long a process should take in an ideal state.
  • Defining stations to be analyzed => master plan
  • Deviations and Initial Allocated Time/time spent objectives, Performance
  • Process modification
  • Station optimization
  • Direct interaction with Operations team
  • Detecting and analyzing malfunctions
  • Updating time baselines
  • Updating workloads
  • Processing improvement proposals
  • Align (AOS) Airbus Operating System focus areas to the established plan.

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned: 10%

  • Lead special projects assigned by manager.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • Required: Candidate must have a 2-year qualification/degree. Preferably in engineering/mechanical engineering/electrical engineering/production management/manufacturing engineering.

Experience:

  • Required: 2 Years Manufacturing Experience
  • Preferred: Experienced in facilitation and/or leading teams through activities

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Comfortable speaking in front of a group.

Travel Required:

  • 5 % Domestic and International (As needed when a specific issue arises but should not be more than 1 week per year.)

  • Authorized to Work in the US

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions
  • Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
  • Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
  • Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.
  • Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.
  • Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on shop floor.
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
  • Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
