Position Summary:  

This position will assist Flightline Manager and Delivery Manager by directing all aircraft maintenance Flightline activity on 2nd shift including aircraft maintenance tasks related to Flightline activity integration and Pre/Post Flight operations under EASA Part 21G and FAA Part 145.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to support team leads in daily maintenance activity; Plan and control workload of all assigned employees, adjust headcount and overtime to ensure on time delivery per approved schedule. Effectively engage with team members and demonstrate ability to coordinate with and obtain support from the assigned team.
  • Assisting FL/Delivery control MGRs in identify potential technical work stoppage, eliminate and anticipate problems which occur in Flight Line Phase & preparing problem solving and recovery plan
  • Assist FL MGR/team leads in FL production daily pass down meeting, reviewing outstanding TLB/QLB points, adjust head count /OT. Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks, Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
  • Attend Pre-FOT/FOT meetings to assist Flight line Manager in monitoring outstanding works/ budget / corrective action plan /acceptance of Aircraft and Quality Gate "O".
  • Assisting FL team leads in monitoring TLB/QLB & coordination work flow and arrange schedule outstanding works with support groups/ Suppliers to ensure FL major milestone is met
  • Work closely with FL team leads/ MAP/ME/XPL/Logistic.... in ensure correct technical references / drawings are available in timely manner, following up BOM required by technical data/ AMM, monitoring all outstanding awaiting parts due dates
  • Responsible/ coordinate FL team leads/ ME/Logistic for cannibalization process/ Recycle parts. Be liaison and POC between Loaner and Donor station MGR to ensure transaction process correctly followed.
  • Work closely with FL team leads /QC/Dispatch and responsible to coordinate priorities in daily and next 24 hrs maintenance / Flight Ops activity planning.
  • Work closely with FCM/ suppliers/ trade coordinators during delivery phase in support TLB/QLB point corrective action, buy backs ready to present to customers
  • Assist FL MGR in schedule FL production working hours, manage duty cycle, maintain OT budget and provide after hour / weekend supervision support.
  • Support FL team leads in continuous improvement activities
  • Coordinate hiring process, training syllabus and employee development programs within allocated time and budget.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations; make recommendations on salary increases (promotion, merit, and adjustment), transfers, hires, and disciplinary actions up to terminations.

 

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

  • At least 5 years leadership experience required
  • 10 years of aviation experience preferred
  • Excellent MS Office application, as well as experience in analyzing data.
  • High degree of flexibility and initiative

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Licensure/Certifications:

  • A&P License required

 

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

    • Strong leadership skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment, cross-functional team environment, as well as independently and with customers and channels.
    • Proven ability to ensure overall alignment across the project for multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
    • Previous experience in an undefined, rapidly changing, ambiguous environment

 

 

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Have the ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with all internal customers.
  • Have the ability to work in an international team.
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to present clear and concise briefings and reports to customers and executives

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions
  • Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
  • Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
  • Equipment Operation: able to operate personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors.
  • Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.
  • Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.
  • Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on shop floor.
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
  • Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
  • Travel/Mobility: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time and on short notice.
  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces other business interactions.
