Position Summary:

This position's responsibility is to support operations by logistics line side feed in partnership with Logistics Service Provider interface. The position will work within a multifunctional team and will be the first contact for operations on any planning and logistical issues.

Primary Responsibilities: Create, negotiate and establish logistical processes with different stakeholders Understanding of Lean Manufacturing philosophies and techniques Perform material planning for free stock, flying consumables and safety stock. Track and trace the physical position and status of material and material delivery units. Coordinate reassignment of Aircraft parts, including the corresponding documentation. Support operations line side on rework/concession parts supply. Prepare purchase orders, ensure delivery schedules, material forecasting and review of consumption for replenishment .Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Information Systems. Other duties as assigned.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education:

Degree or combination of education and experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Logistics


Minimum 3 years in supply chain and logistics in an international company, preferably in aviation Experience within a Foreign Trade Zone Manufacturing Environment would be a plus Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Strong analytical skills Detailed knowledge of common applications (i.e., SAP/R3) Working knowledge of Logistics processes Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation Ability to work in an intercultural multifunction teams

Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Technical Systems Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements: Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.

Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects. Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.

Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on shop floor. Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.

Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves. Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.

Travel/Mobility: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time and on short notice. Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces other business interactions
