Position Summary:

Responsible for collecting, formatting and reporting the necessary KPIs respective to Flight Line operation. Present and review KPIs to the HO of Flight Line for analysis. Package KPI for regular Flight Line and Delivery Management Team presentation and participate to corrective action proposal as necessary. Create and maintain a visual Management tool for top activity KPIs in order to keep inform and engage each employees. Prepare necessary KPIs and related information to create regular feed-back to Flow Line Management Team. Support necessary improvement and operation projects in view of increasing quality, safety, productivity and efficiency.

This role handles the collection, analysis and reporting of data to the Management Team for overall health status of the Flight Line, as well as assisting with analysis and steering of issues found during the Flight line Process, identifies critical points, initiates actions and completes follow up until closure.

Essential Functions

  • Create KPIs based on data avaibility and business need focusing on quality, safety, productivity and efficiency.
  • Collect and Perform inflow analysis on data related to the aircraft and activity in order to present to applicable Management team.
  • Review and Analys data with Director and Manager of Flight Line and Delivery, including, performing data analysis in order to pareto and identify top drivers impacting Flight Line.
  • Prepare and present documentation to Flight Line Management Team and participate to necessary corrective action plan. Steer corrective action(s) and report status.
  • Based on TLB findings prepare, summarize, and deliver /communicate per Aircraft MSN, major TLB quality deviation to Flow Line.
  • Work the Flight Line multi-function team (MFT) collaborating on data extraction, KPI, corrective action and data publication.
  • Integrate applicable KPIs to AOS Flight Line/Delivery project, and, support AOS implementation and sustainability including supporting SQCDP.
  • With the Flight Line MFT develop and apply visual management to inform employees about the overall health status in Flight Line/Delivery.
  • Applies a variety of tools to collect, analyze and report data in support of the Performance Management System.
  • Participate in the Quality Gate "L" (Hand Over) meetings to update applicable KPI.
  • Undertakes projects specifically targeted to identify root causes, and resolution, of operational related issues.
  • Support Flight line ME function for managing and closing open points in Aircraft Progress. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements (Skills needed):

Project Management experience using relevant tools and techniques.

Proficiency in MS Office , as well as experience in analyzing data.

Excellent coordination skills.

Experience in Aviation required

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrable effective knowledge and experience in LEAN practices.

High degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to organize engagement efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Able to work independently and with limited supervision

Education/Special Qualifications (schooling, certifications):

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2-5 years experiences in the aviation industry

Working Conditions/Physical Demands (for ex. Lifting, working in heights):

Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions

Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings. Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.

Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.

Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment.

Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.

Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs/9kg.

Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.

Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.

Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.

Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.

Travel: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time. Able to work outside in hangers in changing locations.

Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
